How is my client notified when I send a message?

When your client first downloads the Trip Plans app for their device, a pop-up will appear asking if they would like push notifications activated. If they choose to have push notifications turned on, they will instantly receive an alert on their device that you have messaged them. 

Your client will also receive an email notification that you have messaged them.
