How do I set up or collect a deposit for a trip?

UPDATE: As of 3/13/2017 the credit, debit, and ACH (bank accounts) have been removed from the Travefy Expense tool. If you created a trip before this date, you will still have the option to use all methods of payment.

To set up and collect a deposit for your trip from your group, simply click on the dollar sign ($) on the navigation bar, which will take you to the “Collect and Pay for Expenses” page.

From there, click the “+ Add Your First Expenses” button and a simple window will appear allowing you to set a deposit amount, description, as well as select everyone who owes for it.

Once you’ve saved this expense, simply click the “Ask People to Pay You” button and you can request money from your group, collect your deposits, and track everything all through Travefy!
